KENS SPECIALTY FOOD
KENS FISH

Naturose Astaxanthan Powder:
NatuRose(tm) is a natural source of astaxanthin, derived from a unique strain of the microalgae Haematococcus pluvialis. The majority of the NatuRose carotenoid fraction is astaxanthin, with about 15% of the remaining fraction consisting of canthaxanthin, lutein and beta-carotene. This highly concentrated form of natural astaxanthin has been carefully formulated into a fine, free flowing dark red powder and is an essential nutritional requirement for shrimp maturation and larviculture.
Mix this with your flake and pellet food at the rate of 1 part Nuturose to 500 parts feed. This will increase the platability and digestion of your food. Within 1-2 weeks you will see a large difference in the health and color of your fish because of the high amounts of Astaxanthan.

GOLDEN PEARLS:
"Golden Pearls" - A New Brine Shrimp Replacement Diet
Golden Pearls is a revolutionary new larval diet that has successfully replaced live Artemia nauplii in marine fish hatcheries in Europe. A patented processing technique (agglomeration of micro-encapsulated particles) resulting in feed particles or "clusters" that resemble raspberries (under the microscope). Golden Pearls have tiny air pockets that keep the feed particles in the water column, not on the bottom of the tank, and mimics live brine shrimp nauplii.
Ingredients: Brine shrimp, squid, shrimp and fish protein, animal protein, purified fish oils, phospholipids, astaxanthin, vitamins and protected minerals, antioxidants, and immunostimulants. These are now available in 3 sizes!
Analysis: Protein - 60%, Lipids - 8%, Ash - 15%, Moisture - 8%, Vit C - 2000 ppm, Vit E - 400 ppm, Astaxanthin - 500 ppm.

DECAPSULATED BRINE SHRIMP EGGS:
Non hatching decapsulated eggs are fed directly, without the necessity and downtime of hatching. Decapsulated eggs have a higher energy and nutritional value than a live brine shrimp nauplii. Since these eggs are non-hatching, no energy is consumed in the hatching process and lipids, amino acids, and enzymes are left intact. Simply rehydrate the decapsulated brine shrimp eggs for a few minutes in fresh water and feed directly to your baby fish or reef tank. (A little bit of these goes a long way).

BRINE SHRIMP EGGS:
These eggs are all from the GSL. These GSL cysts are over-wintered, washed, dried, and tested under strict guidelines before categorizing into the different hatch rate categories.  All cans are 425 grams. They are stamped on the bottom of the can. All eggs must be stored at 40-50 degrees Fahrenheit.
LOW TEMPERATURE DRIED DAPHNIA: NEW
This new breakthrough in drying leaves the vitamins while removing the water. This new process is like freeze drying but leaves behind much more of the vitamins for better results when fed to your fry. Daphnia provide two essential vitamins of primary importance to fish development: vitamin A which is fundamental for growth and an anti-infective agent in mass culture, and vitamin D which is primarily responsible for the production of bone in vertebrates. Daphnia also provide small amounts of vitamin B, which supports tissue growth and stimulates appetite, and vitamin C, which boosts immunity.
